Description
It was 31st December 2020 and I awoke to a blanket of snow. There was a small opening in the sky as the sun rose but by the time I’d gotten out of bed the light was gone and the sky was a lifeless grey. Disappointed, I went about my morning chores. As the morning went on the weather was extremely changeable; sunny one second and moments later, a blizzard. Being locked down due to Covid, I grabbed my camera and walked up into the hills above the village.
Not normally a place I would photograph as the hills above our village are just fields full of cows and sheep but the snow had transformed this usually bland landscape into a winter wonderland.
